Over the years we have designed and built numerous test benches. Some of these have grown into an extensive test facility operating at the company's headquarters. These test systems are used daily by a close-knit team of engineers and technicians to conduct experimental test campaigns for our customers.

TPJB test benchThe test stand enables the testing of Tilting Pad Journal Bearing type, i.e., large-diameter hydrodynamic tilting pad bearings used mainly in the Oil&Gas and Naval sectors. The test stand allows dynamic identification of the elastic and damping characteristics of the bearing under test and employs hydraulic excitation systems with ultra-thrust characteristics.

Differential test benchThe test bench enables the testing of differential transmissions of agricultural tractors and construction equipment. The test bench has an electric power recirculation type architecture with closed loop on a direct current bus (DC BUS). The test bench is equipped with three electric motors two of which, speed-controlled, function as generators.
|
STBF test systemThe testing system consists of two standard INSTRON 1603 mechanical resonance type compression testing machines, which allow conducting Single Tooth Bending Fatigue (STBF) test campaigns. Special gripping, conditioning and loading fixures have been developed in-house. The operating frequency is about 130 Hz.

TDM test benchThe test stand was designed and built for the purpose of being able to perform surface damage tests (pitting, micropitting and scuffing) under operating conditions representative of the meshing of a gear tooth pair at a generic, fixed point on the line of action. The test stand uses discs of appropriate geometry and allows simulating contact pressures up to 3,500 MPa and sliding velocities up to 20 m/s.
