Over the years we have designed and built numerous test benches. Some of these have grown into an extensive test facility operating at the company's headquarters. These test systems are used daily by a close-knit team of engineers and technicians to conduct experimental test campaigns for our customers.

TPJB test benchThe TPJB test bench enables the testing of Tilting Pad Journal Bearing type bearings, i.e. large diameter hydrodynamic bearings with oscillating pads used mainly in the oil & gas and naval sectors. The test bench allows the dynamic identification of the elastic and damping characteristics of the bearing under test and employs hydraulic excitation systems with ultra-strong characteristics.

Differential test benchThe differential test bench enables the testing of differential transmissions of agricultural tractors and earthmoving machinery. The test bench has an electrically recirculated power architecture with closed cycle on a direct current bus (DC BUS). The test bench is equipped with three electric motors, two of which are speed-controlled and act as generators.

STBF test systemThe STBF test system consists of two standard INSTRON 1603 mechanical resonance compression testing machines that allow the conduct of Single Tooth Bending Fatigue (STBF) test campaigns. Special gripping, conditioning and loading fixings have been developed in-house. The operating frequency is approximately 130 Hz.

TDM test benchThe TDM test bench has been designed and built for the purpose of carrying out surface damage tests (pitting, micropitting and scuffing) under operating conditions representative of the meshing of a pair of gear teeth at a generic and fixed point on the line of action. The test bench uses specially designed discs and allows contact pressures of up to 3,500 MPa and sliding speeds of up to 20 m/s to be simulated.
